This Privacy Policy describes how DL Technologies ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the World Atlas mobile application for iPhone and iPad (the "App"). The App displays advertisements to support its free availability; a single one-time Remove Ads purchase removes them. All content is free. Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your information.

#1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information Collected Automatically

When you use our App, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, including:

• Device Information: Device model, iOS version, app version, and language settings
• Usage Data: Countries and features viewed, session duration, frequency of use, and app interactions
• Technical Data: IP address, time zone, and general (country/city level) location derived from your IP address. The App does not request access to your device's precise location
• Diagnostics: Crash logs and performance data
• Advertising Data: Limited information about ads shown or interacted with, collected by our advertising partner for users who have not purchased Remove Ads (see Section 3)

1.2 Information You Provide

We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the App. However, if you contact us for support, we may collect your email address and any information you choose to provide.

1.3 Information Stored Only on Your Device

Your favorites and favorite groups, exploration progress ("passport"), reminder and display settings, and widget data are stored locally on your device. We do not receive this information.

1.4 Purchase Information

The App offers a single one-time Remove Ads purchase. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we do not receive or store your payment card details or Apple ID. The App learns on your device, through Apple's StoreKit, whether the purchase has been completed so that ads can be removed.

1.5 Notifications

If you allow notifications, the App schedules local reminders on your device (for example a daily fact or "monument of the day"). These are generated on your device; we do not run a push-notification server and do not receive your notification token. You can turn them off in the App's Settings or in iOS Settings.

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the App and its educational content
• Save your favorites and exploration progress on your device
• Recognize your one-time Remove Ads purchase across the App
• Analyze usage patterns, diagnose crashes, and optimize user experience
• Display and measure advertisements (for users who have not purchased Remove Ads)
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent activity
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations

#3. Advertising

Unless you have purchased Remove Ads, the App displays a banner advertisement through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device and usage information, including your IP address and information about the ad shown, to deliver, measure, and secure ads. Because the App is intended for users 13 and older, ads are not directed at children.

The App does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission and does not access your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA). Where you are located in a region that requires consent (for example the EEA, UK, or certain US states), Google's consent form is shown before any ad is requested, and you can review or change your choice at any time from the Ad Privacy Options row in the App's Settings. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your region, your consent choice, and your device settings.

Your Advertising Choices:

• Consent: where required, use the consent form shown by the App and change your choice any time from Ad Privacy Options in the App's Settings
• iOS Tracking setting: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking lets you review tracking permissions for all apps
• Remove ads: the one-time purchase removes all ads. Once purchased, the App does not load the advertising SDK or request ads, and no ad-related data is collected through the App

Opting out of personalization does not reduce the number of ads, only their relevance. See Google's Privacy Policy.

#4. Third-Party Services and Content

The App uses or connects to the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob — advertising (non-premium users only)
• Analytics and Crash Data (Google Firebase): We use Firebase Analytics, configured without advertising-identifier support, and Firebase Crashlytics. They receive an app-instance identifier, device model, iOS version, app version, language, approximate region (derived from IP address), crash logs, and basic usage events such as app opens and features used. We use this only to fix bugs and improve the App
• Apple App Store / StoreKit — the Remove Ads purchase
• Apple Maps (MapKit) — map displays. Map requests are handled by Apple
• Our content servers (cdn.dltechapps.com) — the App downloads translated country content when you choose a language. This request reveals your IP address and the language requested; we do not link it to an identity
• YouTube and Google Search — if you open the Videos or Images sections of a country, the App displays web content from YouTube or Google. Those services may collect information under their own policies while you use them

#5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information with:

• Advertising Partner: Google AdMob, to deliver and measure ads (unless you purchased Remove Ads)
• Analytics and Diagnostics Provider: Google Firebase
• App Store Provider: Apple processes your purchase and confirms it to the App
• Service Providers: Third parties that perform services on our behalf (hosting, customer support)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

#6. Data Retention

Data stored on your device stays there until you delete it or remove the App. We retain analytics and diagnostic data for as long as necessary to provide and improve the App, typically up to 24 months unless a longer period is required by law.

#7. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

#8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than Mozambique. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

#9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

• The right to access the information we hold about you
• The right to request correction of inaccurate information
• The right to request deletion of your information
• The right to object to or restrict certain processing
• The right to withdraw consent to personalized advertising

Deleting the App removes the data stored on your device. To exercise your rights regarding data held by us or our providers, contact us at support@dltechapps.com.

#10. Age Verification and Restriction

The World Atlas App is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and we do not serve ads to users we know to be under 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will take steps to delete any information collected. If you believe someone under 13 is using the App, please contact us immediately.

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

#12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
