This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Grammar Courses application for iPhone and iPad (the "Service") and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

• Profile means a learner profile stored on the device, containing a name, age, interface language, and learning progress
• Application means the Grammar Courses software provided by the Company and downloaded by You on an iPhone or iPad
• Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our") refers to DL Technologies
• Country refers to Mozambique
• Device means any device that can access the Service such as an iPhone or iPad
• Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual
• Usage Data means data collected automatically, generated by the use of the Service, which includes non-identifiable information about app performance and functionality
• You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the parent or legal guardian of the child using the Service, as applicable

#Profiles, Age and Children's Privacy

Our Service is intended for a general audience that may include children under 13. We are committed to complying with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Apple's App Store requirements whenever applicable.

What Is Stored in a Profile

A profile stores a name, an age, an interface language, a theme, lesson progress, stars, and earned certificates. This information is stored only on your device. We do not receive it, and we do not pass a profile's name or age to advertisers or any other third party. Deleting a profile in the App removes its data from the device.

How the Age Is Used

Before ads are requested, the App reads the active profile's age on the device and applies one of these settings:

• Under 13 (or no age set): ads are requested with child-directed treatment and the under-age-of-consent flag, are non-personalized, and are limited to the "G" (general audience) content rating. No consent form for personalized ads is shown
• 13 to 17: ads are non-personalized, flagged as under the age of consent, and limited to the "T" content rating
• 18 and older: standard ads, which may be personalized where permitted by law and, where required, only with your consent

Only these settings (not the age itself) are provided to the advertising SDK. The profile picker screen, where no age is known, shows no ads.

Key Protections for Profiles Under 13

• No Personalized Ads: only non-personalized, context-based ads that do not track or profile children
• No Advertising Identifier: the App does not request tracking permission and does not access the Advertising Identifier (IDFA)
• Minimal Data Collection: only what is necessary to operate the App and show non-personalized ads
• Ads Are Age-Limited: content is limited to a rating suitable for children

#Data Collection and Use

What We Do NOT Collect From Children

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers (a profile name is kept on the device only)
• Photos, audio, or video recordings
• Precise geolocation data
• The Advertising Identifier (IDFA)
• Any other personally identifiable information

What We DO Collect

• App Performance Data: crash logs and errors, to help us improve the App
• Anonymous Usage Statistics: non-identifiable events such as a lesson being started, a quiz being completed or abandoned, and its score, collected through Google Firebase Analytics configured without advertising-identifier support
• Device Information: device model and iOS version for compatibility, not for advertising

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the App schedules a local practice reminder on the device at a time you choose. We do not run a push-notification server.

Certificates and Sharing

Certificates and progress cards are generated on your device. They are only shared if you choose to share them through the iOS share sheet.

Users Aged 13 and Older

For profiles aged 13 or older, We may additionally collect standard, non-sensitive Usage Data to improve the Service, and We may display advertising as described above. Users in regions that require consent (for example the EEA, UK, or certain US states) see Google's consent form before ads are requested, and can review their choice from Ad Privacy Options in Settings.

#Advertising

We display a banner advertisement within the App to support its free availability. A one-time Remove Ads purchase removes it; once purchased, the App does not load the advertising SDK, does not show the consent form, and requests no ads.

Our Advertising Provider

We use Google AdMob. For profiles under 13, AdMob receives child-directed treatment and under-age flags and serves only non-personalized ads. Data shared with AdMob is limited to general device information (device type, iOS version), IP address (used for fraud prevention and approximate region), and ad interaction data (such as an ad being shown or tapped), none of which is linked to a user identity. The Advertising Identifier, persistent identifiers, browsing history, and user profiles are not shared.

#Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob: advertising (non-premium users only)
• Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics): anonymous usage statistics and crash reports
• Apple App Store / StoreKit: processes the Remove Ads purchase

We do not use social media integrations or other third-party SDKs that would collect personal information from children.

#Parental Rights and Controls

Parents and guardians can correct an inaccurately entered age by editing the profile, or contact Us directly. As a parent or legal guardian, you have the right to:

• Review: request to review any information we have collected from your child (we collect minimal to no personal information)
• Delete: request deletion of any data associated with your child's use of the App, or delete the profile in the App
• Refuse Collection: refuse to permit further collection or use of your child's information
• Remove Ads: purchase Remove Ads through the App Store to remove all advertisements

#Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the limited data we collect. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Because profile data stays on your device, its security also depends on your device's passcode and iOS security features.

#Data Retention

• Profile Data (name, age, progress): kept on the device until you delete the profile or the App
• App Performance Data and Usage Statistics: retained by our analytics provider for a limited period for debugging and improvement, typically up to 24 months
• Purchase Records: retained by Apple as required by law
• No User Accounts: We do not maintain any user accounts

#International Users

Our app is available worldwide. We comply with applicable privacy laws including COPPA (United States), GDPR (European Union), and other regional privacy regulations.

#Links to Other Websites

This app does not contain links to external websites except for this Privacy Policy and the App Store. We do not link to third-party websites that could collect additional information from children.

#Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will notify users of material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page, updating the "Last Updated" date at the top, and, for significant changes, providing an in-app notice. Changes become effective when posted on this page.
