Organs QuizPrivacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how DL Technologies ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in the Organs Quiz mobile application for iPhone and iPad (the "App"). Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices.

#1. Information We Collect

1.1 Your Quiz Progress and Settings

Your best scores, completed quizzes, and settings (voice, reading speed, notification time, theme) are stored only on your device. We do not receive them.

1.2 Answer Explanations (only after a wrong answer)

When you answer a quiz question incorrectly, the App looks up a short explanation of the correct answer:

• Shared explanation cache (Google Firebase Realtime Database): the App requests the explanation stored for that question and your App language, identified only by a language code and a question code (for example en-US and heart_mc3). No identifier, account, or personal information is sent with this request
• AI explanations (OpenAI, Full Access only): if no explanation is stored yet and you have purchased Full Access, the App sends OpenAI (model gpt-4o-mini) the English text of the question, the answer you chose, the correct answer, and your App language code. No personal information is included. The resulting explanation is saved in the shared cache under the same language and question code so it can be reused by all users, and on your device

OpenAI processes this data under its own privacy policy and API terms. The App obtains the access credential for these requests from Google Firebase Remote Config; no personal data is sent to Firebase for this purpose. Without Full Access, nothing is ever sent to OpenAI.

1.3 Organ Images and Notifications

• Organ images are downloaded from our content server (cdn.dltechapps.com). As with any web request, the server receives your IP address and standard request information; we use this only to deliver the images
• Organ of the Week notifications are scheduled locally on your device, only if you allow notifications. No push token is created and nothing about your notifications is sent to us

1.4 Text-to-Speech

Read-aloud uses the voices built into iOS. Speech is generated on your device; the text being read is not sent to us.

1.5 Information Collected Automatically

To keep the App free and stable, the following limited technical information is collected by our service providers:

• Advertising (Google AdMob, users without Full Access only): device and usage information such as IP address, device type, iOS version, and ad interaction data, used to deliver, measure, and secure ads. General location is at country/region level only, derived from IP address
• Analytics and Crash Data (Google Firebase): We use Firebase Analytics, configured without advertising-identifier support, and Firebase Crashlytics. They receive an app-instance identifier, device model, iOS version, app version, language, approximate region (derived from IP address), crash logs, and basic usage events such as app opens, organs opened, and where an answer explanation came from. We use this only to fix bugs and improve the App

These service providers act under their own privacy policies.

1.6 No Account, No Registration

Organs Quiz does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, or phone number. If you contact us for support, we receive the email address and information you choose to send.

#2. How Your Data Is Stored

Your quiz progress, settings, and saved explanations are stored in the App's local storage on your device. They are:

• Stored only on your personal device
• Never uploaded to our servers
• Removed when you delete the App

The shared explanation cache described in Section 1.2 contains only explanation texts organized by language and question code; it does not contain any information about who requested or read them. If you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup, Apple may include the App's local data according to your Apple settings.

#3. Advertising

Unless you have purchased Full Access, Organs Quiz displays a banner advertisement through Google AdMob. These ads help us keep the App free.

The App does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission and does not access your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA). Where you are located in a region that requires consent (for example the EEA, UK, or certain US states), Google's consent form is shown before any ad is requested, and you can review or change your choice at any time from the Ad Privacy Options row in the App's Settings. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your region, your consent choice, and your device settings.

Full Access: once purchased, the App no longer loads ads, does not show the consent form, and no ad-related data is collected through the App.

Your Advertising Choices:

• Consent: where required, use the consent form and change your choice any time from Ad Privacy Options in the App's Settings
• iOS Tracking setting: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking lets you review tracking permissions for all apps

Opting out of personalization means you may still see ads, but they will not be personalized to your interests.

#4. In-App Purchases

Organs Quiz offers an optional one-time in-app purchase (Full Access) that unlocks all organs and AI answer explanations and removes ads. It is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information or your Apple ID. Please refer to Apple's terms for details.

#5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your information. Information that may leave your device is limited to: advertising data collected directly by Google AdMob (Section 3), analytics and crash data collected by Google Firebase (Section 1.5), explanation lookups and, for Full Access users, AI explanation requests (Section 1.2), and image downloads from our content server (Section 1.3).

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of DL Technologies or others.

#6. Data Deletion

• Delete the App: removing Organs Quiz permanently deletes your scores, settings, and saved explanations from your device
• Notifications: turn off Organ of the Week in the App's Settings or in iOS Settings at any time

We hold no account or personal profile for you. To request deletion of analytics or diagnostic data associated with your device, contact support@dltechapps.com.

#7. Data Security

Data stored on your device is protected by your device's own security features (passcode, encryption, etc.). Network requests made by the App use encrypted HTTPS connections. We recommend keeping iOS up to date.

#8. Children's Privacy

Organs Quiz is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 is using the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

#9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to opt out of personalized advertising. Since the App does not collect your name or contact details, most requests are fulfilled by the nature of the App. For advertising-related data collected by Google AdMob or data processed by OpenAI, please contact those providers or use the choices described above. Organs Quiz uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

#11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
