This Privacy Policy describes how DL Technologies ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Life Tips mobile application (the "App"). Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your information and how we will treat it.

1.1 Information Collected Automatically

When you use our App, we and our third-party advertising partners automatically collect certain information, including:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers (such as Advertising ID)
• Usage Data: App interactions, features used, session duration, and frequency of use
• Advertising Data: Information about ads viewed, clicked, or interacted with
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, time zone settings, and general location data (country/city level)

1.2 Information You Provide

We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the App. However, if you contact us for support, we may collect your email address and any information you choose to provide.

1.3 Purchases

The App offers a one-time in-app purchase (Remove Ads) that removes ads. All categories are free. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play; we do not receive or store your payment card details, only confirmation that the purchase was completed.

1.4 AI Coach (Optional)

If you use the AI Coach, the messages you type, together with the tip you are discussing, are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a reply. Do not enter information you do not want processed this way. Your conversation history is kept on your device. We do not require an account, so these messages are not linked to your name or email.

1.5 Notifications and Diagnostics

The App uses Google Firebase for anonymous usage analytics (Firebase Analytics) and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging, which uses a random device token). These services receive technical data such as device model, OS version, app version, a random installation identifier and usage events.

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the App
• Provide personalized advertisements relevant to your interests
• Analyze usage patterns and optimize user experience
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent activity
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations

#3. Personalized Advertising

We display personalized advertisements in the App through third-party advertising partners. These partners may collect and use information about your device and app usage to show you ads tailored to your interests.

Advertising Partners: We work with advertising networks that may use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to collect information for ad personalization. Our advertising partner is Google AdMob. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), the App asks for your consent through Google's consent form before any ad is requested.

#4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information with:

• Advertising Partners: To deliver personalized ads
• Service Providers: Third parties that perform services on our behalf (analytics, hosting, customer support)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the App and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. Usage and advertising data are typically retained for up to 24 months unless a longer retention period is required by law.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than Mozambique. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
